Those pictures of the Island look so.... warm!!
Ottawa today, on a business trip. Yeah, sure, really pretty city but!
one more......just your typical suburban street 8)
call-out the snowplows and sanders!
ahhh pure bliss, look at all that lovely snow. Acres of it, just the stuff for a snow deprived skier, as myself. One week in NZ per year is hardly enough !

15 minutes to reasonable slopes, so I'm told. Or beaver tails on the canal seems popular. Me, I'm happy to be heading back to SoCal and 25 degrees on Friday.
I'm told Cars and Coffee has found a new home which I will check out Saturday morning.
watch the kerbs, don't break a shock!
Had a Dodge Journey rental in Calgary last week. 2WD on all-season "tires". Now that was fun at times - haven't been able to light up the wheels like that since our Mini 850 on cross-plies back in the 70's.
This week have a Chevy Equinox with proper snow tires and 4WD. Much better - but had some fun yesterday on some sheet ice over in Quebec. Close call with that kerb Kartone :).
In Illinois I broke two leaf springs on a Jeep while crossing the kerb leaving a parking lot, it was around minus 25C.
In New York during COLD weather my Audi GT Quattro rode like a tank before the shocks warmed-up and couldn't shift it out of first gear for a few miles!
