Title: Rubber intake hoses on the TS
Post by: jazig.k on January 13, 2015, 07:14:03 PM
My 4 intake hoses have perished but recently one has been dropping one cylinder when cold. A wrap of duct tape fixed the problem today... So I need to get them replaced.
Are they just straight rubber or stepped diameters [can I buy generic hose stuff or do I need to pay a pot of gold to someone with the last set ever]?

I can really only find these https://www.centerlinealfa.com/fuel-system/383  Part # AF222

How does 8.82 euro each sound? Try;

I have bought stuff from them a number of times and found them to be prompt and reliable.

All fixed...
The hoses are straight, with a step in the middle which is just to press the sleeves in to depth I presume.

I used 44mm ID hose available from Autopro. $6 for the 4 pieces. Fits perfect.  Being a daily driver, I didn't want to wait for delivery.

I have replaced all my intake hoses on my 2.5 with silicone hose.
I got three pieces of hose cut them in half to replace for about $7 a piece.
