Hi guys I'm after an Alfetta sedan rear engine mount
But I heard there are 2 sizes so not to sure as I haven't pulled mine out yet
Also what do you measure on the engine mount to find out if it's a 62 or 64 ???
Thanks
Depending on how badly worn it is, you may be able to get by without replacing it. I, and I know a few others who just cut two pieces of heater hose the right size to go into the gaps (assuming the gaps are still there!). Then a whole pile of silicon between the cut hose and the mount. I find this helps to keep the mount from sagging or moving too much on heavy engine torque movement.
Of course, if the mount is badly damaged then you will have to replace it. If it has sagged a little but is still kinda usable, just jack the rear of the engine a tiny amount until the mount sits correctly and then fill and poop.
