This is the ECC race 4 from the weekend. I have removed the bits between starts.
Yes, my clutch and now probably my gearbox need to be fixed.
I made it past Evan at the start and held him up for a few laps. Then had some fun by myself, trying my best to throw it off the circuit, but, alas, failing to do so.
Race stopped when the 147GTA dropped it's oil on the penultimate corner.

Race 3 now added as well, the last 20 or so seconds show superb judgement, or luck when a 156GTA loses brakes whilst overtaking me.

Here are my videos from the weekend.
Race 1: Bit boring, tried to throw it off the track on the very last corner!

Race 2: Why does it have to rain right now? Tippy-toeing around on a wet track. Skewed off the track trying to go around Neil, then chuckled at him sitting in the grass on the next corner.

Race 3: More jousting with Neil, then hunting down a Berlina - finished one tenth of a second behind as we crossed the line.

Race 4 (part one): Not as good as Neil's video.

Race 4 (re-start): Hunted down Stuart, then hunting down that Berlina again - got past him just before the race was red flagged and declared.

Things wot I have learned...
1) I am too timid to force a pass on a slower car. Must try harder.
2) Neil has bigger nuts than I do in the wet (I was lifting on the straight when I couldn't see five feet in front of me, he wasn't)
3) I'm getting better at race starts, but front-wheel-drive may not be ideal.
4) 38 Alfas going through the first corner gets quite messy. Don't let the car get bogged down in the wrong gear (three races in a row).
Great finish in race 3 Evan. I know that feeling of trying to whip more straight line speed out of the sud.

"Now my little Red Suddy, if you can go just that little faster to beat that Berlina, I will treat you a nice dose of octane booster. PLEASE!!!"

Some vision out of my 105 with a bad misfire - Race 1
Nice driving Matt. I finished just behind this battle, it was the most entertaining battle to watch, I couldn't catch you guys, but bloody hell it was great to watch!!
Race 1,
My first race in years, a bit rusty but I loved it, the race starts at about the 1:40 mark on the video

Race 3, I was chasing Alfio hard, I realised I forgot to turn traction control off after 2 laps or so (was wounding why he was pulling away from me coming out of second gear corners) and had a massive brake loss coming into the very last corner.
Full credit to Alfio, I thought he was outstanding under pressure.

Here is a short clip of the excitement at the end of race 4 which caused the red flag. I think we nearly had two smashed Suds for the weekend...
