Title: Replacement 18" Ti Alloys
Post by: AndrewR on July 08, 2014, 11:18:50 AM
The alloys on my 166 Ti according to the people who are re rolling the rims are about as strong as a wet tissue.
What can I replace them with, so 18" and good looking

They are like Alfa 33 rims, soft as....but they will bend on a pothole and not shatter and can be re-rolled and if you make the rim stronger, the rim will crack, and then you throw it away, with a stronger rim the forces will go thru to the wheel bearings, ball joints bushes, something has to give and absorb the impact, Colin.

I must admit I do like the look of the wheels, so I will just continue on with them.
