Title: Sandown May 10
Post by: tjb0274 on May 12, 2014, 02:18:50 PM
Managed to operate my GoPro correctly this time...

Great day - first time in the wet for me in quite a while, so a useful re-learning experience, especially on the Rs!

Here's some footage from the practice session of me chasing Simon Aarons in the GTV. Went well right up until I locked up the fronts braking for the final corner sequence...

Cough. Apologies - uploaded the outtakes rather than the main vid. Fixed the link in the top post, should be live as soon as youtube finishes processing.

Session 2

Session 3

Session 4

One of the spins at T1 must have cracked the exhaust, because it broke this morning just after the collector. Made for a very noisy early morning drive to Monza  :)

A nice gentle excursion.  I thought you were about to pop out and set up a picnic blanket with some comestibles !

That's some smooth driving, considering the ONLY corner with some grip was turn 4 in my opinion. When I was watching the videos I found myself subconsciously putting my foot on the brake and leaning back at every turn. Tim, your Hardcore! I love it.

Well, I couldn't keep up with a certain green Sprint, so you must be whatever is beyond hardcore  ;)

LOL, I think Stupidity is post-Hardcore! I'm sure someone else will be able to confirm this for you.
