Title: Selespeed question
Post by: gazman65 on May 02, 2014, 12:05:41 PM
Hi Guys,

I recently bought a 2000 156 with a selespeed, I've always had manuals in the past.
When I got it it was fine, but I noticed yesterday the gear shift is now loose and it's changed into city mode by itself and has jumped into neutral at lights by itself. what is it that used to give resistance in the shift before? rubber? because there is no resistance when shifting to neutral and reverse now...

Cheers
