Title: jtdm 2.4 engine cutoff
Post by: Nikola78 on April 14, 2014, 04:34:49 PM
Hi guys.
Yesterday just took off from home and after 50 meters when stopped on intersection engine just stopped.
Tried to start, goes for second-two and then just cuts.Ive pushed it back home with my wife and my neighbor, plugged it on multiecuscan and it shows no errors, but still when I start it just goes for a second and stoppes.
Any hints ideas what can be wrong with it??
Im really pissed off

Check the crank sensor, they die and come back to life, usually they cut out when the engine warms up, then come back to life when the engine is cold, could also be a fuel pump, get under the car at the back, and have assistant turn on ignition key and listen for tick-tick of fuel pump, they can fail when you run them out of fuel, Colin.
