On the subject of being "auto history aware" if you thought the Lamborghini Countach was the first vehicle designed with scissor doors...think again.
Whilst the same designer created these, Marcello Gandini, it was first done in the form of the Alfa Romeo Carabo prototype concept. Anyone that has visited the Museo Storico in Arese will have likely seen it. The Countach concept with scissor doors however was first shown in 1971.
This 1968 Carabo concept was created on the chassis of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale powered by same 2Lt V8.
At that time Marcello Gandini worked for the styling house Bertone. It is now with sad regret that Bertone has announced bankruptcy and unless a buyer is found by end of April, this one may be final.

Very observant of you cocol, perhaps this third/fourth photo is what led to their downfall, a drop in quality control...umm colcol not just the lady!
They say it's not easy being green, but I'm not so sure.
Looks OK to me.
