Title: Giulia Super Headlights - Sealed Beam
Post by: werdna on January 30, 2014, 09:18:13 AM
Anyone else out there running sealed beams in their 105's?
Went to replace the globe last night and had bit of a shock. Both are "IKI" brand sealed beam units.
Definitely non-standard and an aftermarket fitment, right?
Andrew

I've got a Lucas sealed beam unit from an early Stepnose.. I don't know what's worse, sealed beam with a fixed output globe that's poor at best or an original carello that allows one to replace the globe but that also allows moisture in to rust the reflector....

It seems your car has had a  Headlight conversion sometime, in which case any aftermarket H/light could be installed. Try your local Megaspares outlet for somrthing suitable,.I found an H4 (Halogen) 7" that did the job, complete with globe for $25. Autobarn or Supacheap can probably supply the same. For what its worth!!..........................Cheers

Sealed beams are worse... trust me!
