Title: help needed problem with new fuel sender unit

bought a new 105 in tank sender unit placed the two wires red and the black stripped back in place now fuel guage reads full all the time under hard acceleration it moves to empty tried earthing out the screws still fails and ideas and pics  to what i am doing wrong ????
have i been sold the incorrect type of sender unit ?

Check that the sender and the gauge are both from the same manufacturer. Only senders and gauges from the same manufacturer are compatible.

Had a similar problem with mine and put up with it for years.  Recently I switched the wires around after reading something on the Alfa BB and it was fixed.  Worth a try!
