There is a company in the UK called TOTALLY ALFA who make special tools for servicing of Alfa Romeo cars, with everything from camshaft locks and camshaft belt tensioning tools, brake, gearbox, suspension, engine and anything else.
The owner had a twin spark he used to service and thought the factory tools cost a kings ransom, so he made his own and sold them on ebay, i have purchased his products and they work good, years ago i used to make my own tools and stuff around like an old chook, trying to make them, now it is good that that you can buy them online.
I couldn't buy a flywheel lock for a JTS 156, so i purchased a flywheel lock for a JTM, which looked close, it needed a bit of fettling, but i got it to do the job, about a week after i used the modified JTM flywheel lock, Totally Alfa made a special flywheel lock for the JTS, should have waited!.
The prices for the tools are reasonable compared to factory tools, but the freight is a bit pricey.
