Title: Converting a 2000 GTV (105) AUTOMATIC to Manual
Post by: Backto105 on December 18, 2013, 07:31:54 PM
Just wondering if anyone has done this before....

I think I have it all covered....

Flywheel
Clutch Kit
Slave Cyl and hose
Master Cyl
Reservoir Bottle and clamp
Pedal assembly
Gearbox (of course!)
Console
Tailshaft
4.1 LSD rear axle
Section of tunnel on floor pan unique to manual trans

Have I forgotten anything? Is there is anything tricky that I should be aware of?

Welcome your thoughts

Regards

Mark

Good luck with this one, but I think you might be better off contacting someone in the good old U.S of A, as I imagine the automatics would have been a stronger seller over there. I've only seen one auto 2000 GTV pop up for sale in Oz recently.
Did you acquire all the bits from a donor car?

Hi   Sounds covered except maybe backup lamp switch wiring perhaps rad cannot remember if trans has cooling pipes to it ,I have an auto coupe here and have wrecked one and several berlinas.  Fitting the floor repair panel would be the biggest part auto has cable kick down from throttle pedal might be different.  john
