Title: Alfa Romeo GTV6 90 75 propellar shaft support
Post by: VeeSix on November 09, 2013, 03:20:08 PM
I have a friend that has managed to damage the thread on the propellar shaft support, checked it out on the 90 i was dismantling and wondered what the deal is, how are these inserted/removed?

I checked the top inside the car, nothing there so definantly not put in from the top, installation/removal is done underneath the car  ???

Looks to me like he'll need to clean off the deadener etc and drill the spot welds. Wouldn't surprise me if they are put in, then the piece is spot welded on afterwards.
