Not bad , but only about 10secs faster than a 105

Are BTG (Bridge To Gantry) times the same as those top record fast times promoted?

Sure, but if one considers that car to actually be a 105, it has a considerably larger engine, and cost more than a 4C to produce..... ;)

Geez , it sure looked like a 40 y o 105 with about a 25 year
2 litre twin spark non aspirated engine in it. Might of have a bit of other work done to it as well.
A bit late to cheat and edit the post so why don't we go with normally / naturally aspirated engine. etc etc etc
Not to take anything away from the 4C 's record breaking time , but I think all it does is show how absolutely , incredibly unbelievable the Alfaholics 105 GTA's time was.
Well worth watching the clip. I would love to know what the Porsche GT3 driver was thinking as he kept looking in the rear vision mirror and" that bloody thing" was still there.
Hahaha yes ! ..."Get it off me ! Get if off me ! "
Victor - Bridge to Gantry is about 500m shorter than a full lap so yes, times will be slightly different although that 500m is all straight so probably not by much.
Out of interest, the 4C is the cover story (and gets rave reviews) in the latest Top Gear Australia mag. Also carries a separate yarn by Richard Hammond on how good it is, and how it will probably be the first Alfa he buys and owns, so he can finally be considered a true petrol-head.
In the interests of full disclosure, I should add that in a separate interview, our last World Champion F1 driver Alan Jones, when asked if he'd ever owned an Alfa, chipped in with "I've never owned one, but I've had the misfortune to drive a few..." and then noted some interesting examples of quality control.
Bastard ... what would he know about cars anyway!
Thats probably why enzo ferrari never made a second offer for his services after he declined thw first time, he found out he dislike italian cars.
Daniel Ricciardo come on down ...!
Wasn't Allan Jones a Queensland Alfa Romeo Dealer about the time he was driving the Group A Ingus Alfa Romeo GTV 6 Alfetta?, that would have been after he retired from Formula 1 and started spruiking SAAB's, Colin.
