Title: Dent doctor
Post by: GTA Neil on October 10, 2013, 02:20:51 AM
Just picked up a small dent on the rear of my GTA... Does anybody know of a good dent repair shop. The dent is small enough to get sucked out so no need for respray etc etc, but want want to make sure it's done by a pro... As this is my baby so not too worried about expense

Neil,

Stuart from Dentcraft is the best person in Perth. Not sure where he is now but might be in 70 Norma Road Booragoon.

I'd contact Cileberti Motors in Osborne Park and ask who they recommend, or use, for body work.

Went and saw Steve at Dent craft.... Looks like he knows what he is doing, should book it in in the next week or so.

Another question I have is I am thinking of putting Q2 diff in GTA, who would you recommend to do the job, have heard good comments about Ciliberti and Autodelta?

I always take my 156 V6 to Cileberti's (even the prior owners took it there, so they know the car which is handy). They know what they are doing, and its always interesting to wander in and see what else is in the workshop (they had a Junior Z in a few weeks ago).

I don't have any experience with Autodelta, so can't really offer an opinion except that other people's feedback seems positive.

Might be as simple as which is closer and more convenient for you?

Cecchele Motors in Northbridge also specialise in all things Italian, but I haven't tried them so can't offer any real view.

Finally got my car into Stuart at dent doctor. This guy is a legend and would recommend him any day. Good service, really friendly but ultimately a fantastic job. Would never say there was a dent. Thank you for the recommendation ;D

Sounds like a good resource for you guys in the West . I suppose it raises the question who's the best "Dent Doctor" in Melbourne ?
Any recommendations.
