Like so many things from Alfa Romeo of late, I'll believe it when I see it.
Having said that, if it actually happens, it's all about (10 years late) time!
Good news, lets hope they go back to chain driven motors as well and ditch tensioners with plastic ball bearings.
Chain driven timing gear wasn't that good on the 159 series, Alfa Romeo need a 159 replacment now, not in 3 years time, will beleive it when they are in the showrooms and what platform, [the most expensive part of the car] are they going to share with?, Colin.
Car magazine is reporting the current cars will bite the dust by 2015 as well.

Fantastic news if true about RWD. Maybe time for a new fastback inspired by the GTV6?
...or one of these as a cheaper version of the 4c. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
