Hi there

I'm based just across the border near Tweed - I have a road registered 105 1750 Veloce race car so like to get out in that from time to time - what about a treasure hunt ? (don't know if that is the correct term over here, but that's what we called them in the UK !

I live in Ashmore and pretty keen on events around the Gold Coast. I work in Brisbane and drive my Alfa everyday up so on the weekend I pefer to stay down here. Drive an Alfa Mito TCT 1.4 TB and proud of it. Fantastic Car. Maybe we can start small and not expect to have 100 cars showing up on the first few events. What do you think? Good idea by the way.

I think i've seen your car around/waved to you (on markeri street near the shell service station) - I have a Giulia Super and 1750 GTV.
I'd love to meet up/go for a drive day.

Hey guys there are plenty of Gold Coast members, stretching from Southport to the Tweed. Paul Young, Manuel Pena, Terry Cook and John Fenwick are a few who immediately spring to mind.

If you'd like to suggest a weekend day run kicking off from a certain point on the GC and taking in some of the hinterland feel free to map it out and pitch it to social co-ordinator Roger Brameld.

Cheers,

Brent

Hi - I own a 68 roundtail spider (light blue) and live in Burleigh. I often hook up with the guys from Classic Car Clinic and go for runs up in the Hinterland. Keen to see another Alfa along (I am always the only one surrounded by British cars). Keen to meet for an Alfa run locally. I feel like maybe we should start a GC Alfa Group?

Rad Alfa,

Are you an AROCA Qld member? If you are, why don't you come along to a club night and we can discuss how you might best go about co-ordinating the other Gold Coast members for day runs, dinners, coffee catch ups etc.

Cheers,

Brent Hampstead

Hi Mark   You would be the gentleman in the red coupe with the white stripe I followed into town the other day . I thought you were a visitor ,just ask anyone in the valley where the Alfa man lives they have probably been passed by the dozens of Alfas my partner and I have or had in the last 13 years .  regards John 55909474   0418189207

Good to know that are people interested on making some small meetups on GC.
i would say that it would be better for people that cant take the entire day off to go that far

i drive mine daily to work and yesterday an asian lady decided NOT to brake so, like the 2 and 1/2 months before, it is going back to bodywork to be fixed. Just had it all rust treated and painted.
thank God it was just the bumper, so now i am trying to source a full rear bumper with mounts and everything. so no showing up on my alfa  :(

Maybe we should meet soon. Just to say hi and catch up for a few minutes. Have a coffe etc. What do you think? I mean we don't have t to wait until we get 100 members together right?
