A very enjoyable clip. I have both the 64 and 65 races on tape so can watch them at my leisure.

Super 100mph who posted that clip has an interesting library,
Here's another one from his library. The 1969 Surfers Paradise race.

What is this "tape" you speak of? ::)
That 1969 Surfers race is also an awesome bit of footage. I was still a few years off then, but still enjoying the false nostalgia!

Almost makes you want to sit down and watch a few old episodes of Homicide or Division 4 . How scary did the Mustangs & Studebaker Larks look
And this was back in the good old days of series production, when you had to run showroom cars, not the sports sedans they run today called V-8 Supercars, see Kevin Bartlett smoking in the pits, how times have changed!, and Frank Gardner, one of Australia's most under rated drivers, always good for a one liner, someone once asked him of his greatest achievment in Motor Racing, and he replied, being allowed to race a car ...while on his honeymoon, and the biggest team in the Southern Hemisphere, Alec Mildren, imagine these days if Triple eight were running Alfa Romeo's thats what it would be like, thanks for posting it, Colin.
