Title: slave cylinder noise
Post by: kartone on May 25, 2013, 08:27:17 PM
Noticed a noise yesterday while parking the GTV everytime I used the clutch  >:(.
This morning determined it was coming from the clutch slave cylinder, a squeaky noise like rubbing a finger over wet glass; the cylinder was replaced 2 years ago, let's hope for the best :-\.

Not familiar with Alfetta slave cylinders, but when the slave cylinder gets noisy on my 33, i put a dab of zinc grease on the ball of the pushrod where it pushes the fork, Colin.

That's what I would suggest,  but it could also be where the push rod sits in the slave or where the fork pivots on the ball in the transmission.
