Title: 24V flywheel
Post by: 105gta on May 17, 2013, 05:49:36 PM
Hi all, just wondering if there is anyone in Brisbane who may have a flywheel lying around off a 24V V6, I've read that it's common to swap the dual mass units for a solid one because of imbalance! basically I need one to take measurements of the crank sensor wheel, so if anyone has an old out of balance/worn dual mass flywheel, it would be much appreciated if I could buy at fair price or even just borrow to mount and take measurements from. Unfortunately the engine I bought had already lost the flywheel before I got to it, doesn't have to be a dual mass flywheel but presume there would be quite a few unserviceable units kicking around I could utilize. Is coming to the stage where would be needed soon for my 24v conversion into a GTV6 and would rather copy a factory unit then Start from scratch.

Cheers Ben
