You would have trouble getting heat into those tyres, notice all the snow at the side of the road, Former Formula Grand Prix driver Gerhard Berger started his career in the Trofeo Series, but not sure if it was for Suds or Sprints, Colin.

That would be Suds.

Gerhard Berger was an Austrian Grand Prix driver who came from racing tintops as opposed to most Grand Prix drivers who came from open wheelers, at one of the Adelaide Grand Prixs, Berger drove a Bob Jane tyres sponsored orange BMW 635 C.S.I., between driving a Formula one car!, just like the old days with Jim Clark and Graham Hill, love to see that these days, Colin.

Didn't Ayrton Senna have a Sud too?

The story is he owned a silver 1.5Ti for nearly 2 years while living in the UK.

Some articles with a small reference to his sud.

So the best driver of all time drove an Alfasud, i suppose when you are as good as Senna, you know what a good car is, although my favourite Formula 1 driver was Alain Prost, but seeing Senna liked Suds i may have to reconsider, Colin.
