Post by: Leeran on April 15, 2013, 10:54:29 PM
Hi all I'm told that the production figures world wide of the 147 GTA was around 5030, my question is how many was imported to OZ over its 4 year production life. just would like to know how rare this car is in Australia

Good question Leeran and one I have also pondered over. I read an article published soon after the 147 GTA's release that suggested Alfa Romeo Australia were expecting 10-20 sales per month after the initial 50 die-hard Alfisti that have already put down money prior to the arrival. I believe the GTA was only sold from late 2003 and I don't think there were any delivered after 2006.........so if these sales target are some indication then my guess would be somewhere in the region of 1000 cars?
I wonder how many GTA's have since been destroyed?
I really don't think there are many modern cars that are future collectables but the 147 and 156 GTA's might buck that trend. Time will tell ??
