Did the Alfa 90 only have two speakers?
Mine has no head unit but I recall they had a joystick conbtrol for balance/fader? I only have two (original) speakers in the rear parcel shelf, but no speakers up front in the doors.
Where were the front speakers installed? Up under the dash?
Both 90's I've had, had the front speakers in the doors ... a painfully odd size of 3.75" x 6" (Pioneer's) to replace.
They had four speakers, one in each front door trim, the driver side speaker cover has a central locking button on it, the picture usually falls out, i have two out of going thru about ten 90s, two on the rear parcel shelf, i have all original speakers available :)
D'oh!! Ignore me....I'm an idiot. Couldn't see the forest for the trees!!!! Of course, there are two door speakers behind the plastic grlles incorporated into the door trim design.
It must have been all the blood rushing to my head from being upside dow in the 90 all afternoon............ :-[

Brad, are you saying Pioneer still make a speaker that will fit the factory position, or at least ft under the grille/cover?
I have alpines in my 90, the are 4 inch squares and fit under the covers fine
There were 2 types head units in the 90's the joystick one and a full button one, I have both available with the accompanying factory amp as well
Cheers Dehne,
Stoopid me threw out all my old tapes the last time we moved.................
BTW, where did the amp sit? In the glovebox?
Most of them have been in the drivers footwell on side near fuse box, but will also fit right behind the head unit
