Title: coming back to australia
Post by: gubbo on April 06, 2013, 01:43:52 AM
Hi guys, new here to alfa club

I've been in the UK for a few years but haven't needed a car but will be coming back mid July so have been thinking about what sort of car I want. Have been doing a bit of researching and would like to get back into a european car (previously had an audi S3).

Deciding what car to get has been really difficult, but some research has lead me to think about an Alfa 147 GTA Monza.

Will continue doing research on this car and when i'm back may look into getting my hands on one of these. They look brilliant and seem to have enough poke. Do many people here modify theirs for performance? Haven't seem to come across many build threads on this website.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

Hi Gubbo,

Excellent to have you back in country. A pity you weren't able to purchase a car 1 year ago and import privately - it could have saved you some money.

There are a number of threads showing modifications to 147GTAs (and 156GTAs, such as mine!) on this website:

Good luck with your travels and don't hesitate to make contact with any questions
