Title: Tires for 75 TS
Post by: GTVeloce on February 27, 2013, 09:42:16 PM
Ok, I'm sure there are many right answers to the question, but what have people had success with for a standard 75 TS? I am running original size, 195/60/14. Currently I have Hankooks which have been ok. I have had a search and things are pretty limited for 14in wheels. I have seen some good reviews for Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S but not even sure they are available locally.
Thanks

I ran Yokohama C Drive 195/60/14 on my Twinspark and found them to be a fantastic, safe tyre. Not as grippy as some sport tyres but only about $130 each, excellent in the wet and I even did a couple of track sprints on them.

Cheers,

Brent

Dunlop SP SPORT LM703 might also be worth considering.
Only available from Dunlop Super Dealers.

Cheers,

I had great grip from my C drive Yokohamas but changed to Bridgestone RE001 and found the same grip and twice the mileage for an extra $20.00 per tyre, I recommend them highly.

I've have great grip from my 195/60/14 Falken RT615's. They have done 5 days at Winton & are fine on the road too.
