Title: Lower bush for gear lever
Post by: GTVeloce on February 14, 2013, 03:54:14 PM
Does anyone know which bush fits the lower part of a 75 gear lever? Also, where to get it from? Mine has too much play for my liking.

Thanks

The Spare Place in Adelaide has them.

Quite cheap as well. Can't remember how much.

Thanks Steve. Tried them but they have run out. They still have Alfetta ones but that is no good for me. Still I bought something else from them and they were very quick to post it out.
Cheers

Some new developments. I had a good look at the bottom of the gear lever tonight and the lower bushing just pushed out easily by hand!

On top of that I discovered the roll pin that holds the gear selector rod to the linkages is missing and someone has put wire through the hole!

So, tomorrow I will be sourcing a new roll pin (bunnings?) and also need a new bushing. Any local sources that might have one? I'll take a photo tomorrow and post it up as well.

Thanks
