Hi All,
has any one ever retight the cylinder head after a year or two ???
It's seems that the R/hand side of my v6 has loose tapped NO.1 inlet only and a very littile amout of oil
in the water when it's left it seat for more than 2 weeks.
But when the is used a lot, the oil leak stops and the tappers are a lot quieter .
any thought ?
PS I have no water in oil at all in the sump.

Can you please re-type this in the form of an actual question instead of indecipherable dribble?

That looks like a question to me.

I've not done it myself.
It can't hurt to carefully run a torque wrench back over the head nuts in the correct order. It's probably a good 1st step for the problems you mentioned but not necessarily a guarantee of success.
I know Greg Gordon recommends it if you plan to add forced induction to your engine.

There's no fire with retorquing head nuts as long as it's done to factory specs.

The parts look good. I just did 1 cam cover and plenum chamber in VHT gloss black, but I'm not totally sold on it. Might get a can of wrinkle and redo them.

cheers m8 I pay $18 buck a can.

LOL! I did this with my plenum chamber (but in gloss black  :-\) and I just used some wet and dry paper and a block. More work than I thought, but looks better than when it was all black.
Been a lazy SOB (actually been doing wiring and making extractors) and not touched the drivers side cam cover or even painted the passenger side cover.

Keep us in the loop with the oil leakage into the coolant after sitting, Alphie.

Howdy m8,
(making extractors ) you must have lots of money I looked at that but it was way more then $600 buck.
You buy a set for vince for about $600 or EB in the UK for same money + post .

You've lost me.
If I'm making them, it means I've got less money than time. Raw materials was nearly $300 and I made the flanges at work.
After completing the driver's side, I got fed up with the passenger's side and refitted the original manifolds.
