Hi guys!
just purchased a '92 33 16V (sunroof model) and i want to tweak it s bit.
What Performance chip would be best for it?
I've heard people put Squadra Chips and Autodelta Chips but want to know if there are any better ones and where to get these chips from?
Kind regards, Stefan

Have a chat with Festy, he's very serious about tuning the earlier Motronic system. He has a rather in depth thread on AlfaBB http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/engine-management/190352-what-stock-75-ts-motronic-can-cannot-do.html.

The best approach is to have the car real time tuned on a dyno by someone who has the correct equipment and who knows their way around the insides of the chip (that's what Festy is doing now, figuring out where and what everything is inside the chip) and what they are doing. That way the computer is tuned for your specific engine and does away with a lot of the factory tolerances that are built into the factory tune that allow for production variations and more specifically, run/break in variations when the engine is new.

Have you found the fuel quality plug and um "highflowed" the cat? The plug location in the 33 is covered here: http://www.alfaclubvic.org.au/forum/index.php?topic=5094.msg27798#msg27798.

Stick it on open loop high octane (after putting decent fuel in it!) and see how that goes.... Cheapest "chip" you can (not) buy.

OOps - sorry mr Moderator - only noticed this is in buy/sell - looks like replies should be (and plenty of good ones are) over  here
