Hey guys i'm looking at buying my first Alfa..  A 159 JTDM Ti wagon.

Could someone please shed some light on what a "typical" Alfa service would cost for the deisel engine?

At what kms is the cam belt to be replaced and how much will that cost?

The car im looking at has 40k on the clock so just trying to figure out what i'm up for.

Thanks so much!

About 350-450 for basic yearly service.

Cambelt should be every 4 years or 150,000kms (sounds high but checked the service book and thats what it says)

If the belts never been changed and its up for renewal best to factor that into your budget. Get a quote from a dealer and take it from there.

Apart from the service cost the 2.4 is awesome. Heaps of torque. My friends ferrari 348 has only 320Nm while the 159 has 400Nm. They're a beast to drive as a cruiser on the freeway. They absolutley love the open road and i've found when the old man takes his out for a blast, the faster it goes the more comfortable it gets.
