How do I rejuvinate my coil springs?

I received the rare'ish Eibach Sportspack springs for my 156 2.5V6 today, all the way from Wales in the UK. Can anyone provide any suggestions as to the best way to repair and rejuvinate the painted finish? As you'll see in the photos there are sections where the paint has come away and surface rust has formed. I was thinking of getting them sandblasted or acid dipped, or perhaps sandpaper and elbow grease will have to do?

Getting them sandblasted and then powdercoated is probably the best and longest lasting option.

I got a quote from Campbellfield Powdercoating and Sandblasting Services, $45 per spring....which sounds reasonable.

If thats for both sandblasting and powdercoating, then yeah I'd think that it's a reasonable price.

He does powdercoat other small items other than wheels, im getting my 2.0l rocker cover done from him soon.

I used this guy to powder coat some mag wheels i had and i was happy with the finished product.

It is for both sandblasting and powdercoating, so it sounded ok to me. I've tried a couple of other places but they haven't shown any interest....I'll try the colour-ur-mags guys anyhow.
