I can see you have painted the spokes.

Are the rims just a standard metal finish, maybe with a clear coat over the top?

I think my issue will be trying to align the machined strip with the rest of the painted part of the wheel because there is no separation. The line of difference is really only created by the point at which the Wheel Solutions guy stopped machining. That challenge will become clear when I post a photo. I also might have to spend more time than I have available to find a matching colour.

yes the insert i painted, the outer is polished. I konw the guy we get our paint from has a spectro style machine thing (unsure what to call it) but you can put the wheel under it and it will scan and give you the colour code.

Update....
I went to Neway in West Hiedelberg and spoke with Dave.They all seem like top guys. Quote was $220 + GST for sandblasting, smoothing, filling and painting in 2 pack.
I will report back on how it goes.
