To coincide with the 105 series 50th Anniversary Celebration Tour of Tasmania in Easter 2012 I am pleased to give advance notice of the first quality book title intended to cover all of the Orazio Satta-designed 105/115 series. "ORAZIO SATTA'S BRILLIANT 105/115 SERIES".

This proposed new book, which would be printed on quality art paper, in full colour, with hard cover, stout slipcase and withdrawal ribbon is the 3rd book from renowned Australian classic car author Bruce Lindsay. It will entirely describe and illustrate all models from original factory sales material, press photos and contemporary road tests, thereby supplying owners with a reliable guide to their cars' specification and performance when new. The format will continue this author's presentation of "Lancia – 70 Years of Trailblazing" and "Armstrong Siddeley – The Sphinx with the Heart of a Lion". For full details and reviews please visit www.original-lancia.com and www.armstrong-siddeley.com and see full information on the attached flyer.

The book is expected to comprise 264 pages, and its recommended retail price in Australia will be around AU$110 incl GST. PLEASE NOTE that expressions of interest – not commitments to purchase – are hereby sought from Alfa enthusiasts, to assist a decision on whether to proceed with the production of this book. This is a book we simply must have so please say YES on this forum ....

i suspect I too might be interested, albeit I already have 11 books on 105s out of a total collection of 19 books on Alfas.

So I guess the question that hopefully will be addressed by this new book, is what else can be said or brought to life on the 105 that hasn't already been.

The one book I don't have but would love is Fusi, however, given its price and relative rarity I don't expect to be adding that one to my collection in a hurry.

Thanks for the posting Aggie, but bugger I just hurt my Alfa  >:(, scraped the LHS side skirt on my 156 wagon on a rock on my brother's driveway and so am going to need $$ to get it repaired.  Am not happy with myself for being so blind.
