Hi to all, Im in the process of lowering the front of a gtv6 using a non alfa guy but experienced in the suspension trade. He is having trouble getting my specified heights and claims when he moves 1 tooth , it drops 50mm and cant work out why he cant get less. I have checked out BB site on how to do it and yes it does give an answer, but everyone has their own method / opinion . Can someone give me a simple in explanation method to do the adjustment by someone who has done it . Thanks in advance Doug

Thanks Paul, that link cleared the fog. Those torsion bars seem to be and are simple but once confusion sets in you need to walk away and come back later. The job is done but i noticed that the upper wishbone is rubbing on the shock. We backed off the castor to make clearance but it is still very close. Do others have the same issue?

I checked and they were right, we backed off the caster and it seems to clear however i did a sprint day at oran pk and need to check for signs of contact when i get the car off the trailer. Now that the front has been dropped and with 4 degrees camber the car goes around corners like its on rails and now have oversteer, totally new ground for me. Tyre wear seems to be good but will see when new tyres go on. Thanks to chowder, vic and the others who responded to this and my other posts in regard to the front end set up.
