98 Alfa Spider, won't start after running low on fuel

Hi, my 98 Spider has been dry stored for 3 years. I start and run it for five minutes every couple of weeks.Always started straight away. Last week it would not start. it was very low on fuel. after putting in 10 litres of 98 it still would not start. Battery is fully charged. We have owned this car since 2000. any help would be appreciated.
