GTV6 master cylinder compatible to a Alfetta GTV brake booster

Hi to all,
I have a 4 cylinder Alfetta GTV brake booster with a GTV6 master cylinder, I have noticed when I put my foot hard on the brake pedal the car does not want to stop. Is a GTV6 master cylinder compatible to a Alfetta GTV brake booster. The rod between the two has no adjustment.

Yes, the GTV6 BMC is the same as 4cyl. Should work fine. Check the booster is good and the non return valve is not suck closed and operational.
