Sud Sprint fuel filler neck connections.

Hi On my 79 Sprint Veloce 1.5 there are two hose connections at the top of the fuel filler neck, a 10mm hose that goes to the tank, and a 6mm hose 400mm long that goes where ?
Got the car partially assembled and this hose was connected at the top and hanging loose.
Does anyone have a diagram or can describe where it goes.

Mike, perhaps this is an overflow drainage pipe. Suds have the drainage pipe under the fuel filler neck but not sure about Sprints.

Is it a fuel vapour line from the charcoal canister in the front ('79 perhaps to early) or the smaller black plastic canister in the rear (vapour expansion collector)?
