Hi all,
Newbie first post ( I have posted in introduce yourself but it hasn't been approved yet). My recently acquired 1750 Berlina is getting a rebuilt steering box. Whilst the carbs are out, I am going to put kits through them. I have noticed that the intake camshaft is a Pace 2229 and am wondering if I can expect to find non standard jetting to suit the cam?
Anyone with experience with this camshaft?
Cheers

Hey mate,

I suggest to ask Vin Sharp, he is PACE.
He is on here frequently you could send him a message easily.
Cheers.

Hi there,
2229 is basically a warmer 10548 cam: a couple of degrees more duration plus another 1mm of lift. Nice smooth free-up of a stock engine.
Venturis (32mm) and jets should be the same as for a 1750 S2 or 1800 Alfetta, 130 main jet for Weber carbs. Earlier cars were 125. Don't recall Dellorto carb jets as I sit here at the moment...
Cheers, Vin

Thanks Vin. When I had the carbs off for cleaning and a kit I noted that it has 34mm venturis and a couple of the jets were a size larger. I will get replacement parts and return to stock configuration.
