As 105GTA mentioned, the H.B on these things rarely give trouble. If the rubber insert is smooth, with no wrinkles, deformation I would simply reuse it.

Unlike the other pulleys & tensioners fitted with bearings, there is no need to replace the H.B. unless there is deterioration to the rubber insert.

The original HB's internal rubber looks fine. Would hate for it to come apart tho if re used..!
The link in Baz's post shows which pulley puller not use : ) when replacing the HB.
Yes I used that one! So distorted the rubber in a way it wasnt designed to be.

Ohhh, I see.  :-\

And most engines are internally balanced as in each item is dynamically balanced on its own.
Our busso v6's are not!

For whatever reason, when I first read this thread there were no photos displayed on my screen. Now that they have shown up, it's obvious that there is a substantial offset of mass in the hub of the harmonic dampers for these V6 engines, so the damper hub must be intergral to the static balance. It would follow that if the original damper is marked '3.2' or '3.0' or '2.5' then so to should any replacement.

John.
