I have to pairs of konis one is red and one is yellow. I've never know witch is better out of the yellow and red shockers.

Also both are adjustable but one is screw adjusted and the other is adjusted with a button ,red one retracts after compressing and yellow does not. Is the yellow one broken ?

The Yellows are a low pressure gas shock. There is some Nitrogen gas in them, but at a pressure so low that it wont extend the damper.

Also, if you shake the shock, listen/feel for any rattling internally. This can happen when the foot valve gets damaged from the car being lowered too much on too soft springs/torsion bars and without bump stops being used (which seams to be more of a problem with the 160 chassis cars).
