Just before I pop off to a wrecker, I was wondering if there are any good vacuum brake booster units out there for sale.
Mine went on holiday yesterday and did not return. My pedal is hard and I stop OK but it takes a lot of effort. The pedal pulses slightly with the idle and the idle is a bit rougher than normal. The vacuum hose looks OK but I'll replace it anyway as it has stiffened up a lot, and the Non-return valve on the manifold seems to work fine when I suck and try to blow through it. ... So I am assuming I simply need to replace the booster.
Any advice greatly appreciated before I buy a booster I may not need. ... Cheers ... Mike
