... to raise mony for the Cancer Council?

What is going on with Brad's hair?

This is a question I have been fielding for a few months now, and the answer is I wanted to grow it while I could. The other question is usually, "When are you getting a haircut hippy?"

This is where you come in, I'm doing something a little different to raise money for the Cancer Council, and decided to auction off my haircut. The way it'll work is when you donate to team "Alfa Will We Get?", you will be able to place a vote for the haircut I will get for the last day of work before the 2012 ShitBox Rally and for the Rally itself.

The 2012 ShitBox Rally being a 7 day outback trek from Melbourne to Cairns in a car worth less than $1,000, visit www.shitboxrally.com.au for more info.

Now to encourage a decent response, each cut has a minimum dollar value of the total votes, before it becomes a valid option. If "Pony" has a minimum of $500, and there is only a $100 in total votes, it won't be happening ... so encourage your friends to donate to this worthy cause, the Cancer Council.

The last time I had a haircut was last April, for my wedding day so there's quite a bit of length and a decent block of marble to sculpt, here are the options:

  • [Save] A normal hair cut (the wife's preference) – Min $50.
  • [Crew] Think enlisted soldier, with a number 2 clipper – Min $250.
  • [Pony] Think Steven Segal, simply put up in a pony tail – Min $500.
  • [Razor] Uncle Fester, shave the hair off, excludes the eyebrows  – Min $750.
  • [Mullet] Billy-Ray Cirrus, business in front, party out back – Min $1,000.
  • [Bieber] Justin's trademark style, just not age appropriate – Min $1,250.
  • [Norman] Norman Gunston, bald on top with a few strands as a comb-over – Min $1,500.
  • [Friar] Think Friar Tuck, bald on top with a ring of hair around – Min $2,000.

Voting is done when you make a donation, after you select the "Donation Amount", place your vote at the start of your "Message" like this; "[Mullet] you need to relive your inner Bogan".

So go to http://www.everydayhero.com.au/alfa_will_we_get, donate and make your vote count.

The attached Flyer shows some of the options.

Up to now there's been $545 in total votes, so Saving (my dignity), Crew Cut and Pony are all possible styles for the Rally (but none of them have been chosen).

FRIAR (still needs $1,455 in votes to happen) has 70% of votes.
NORMAN (still needs $955 in votes to happen) has 9% of votes.
BIEBER (still needs $705 in votes to happen) has 8% of votes.
MULLET (only needs $455 in votes to happen) has 4% of votes.
RAZOR (only needs $205 in votes to happen) but has no votes.

NOTE: Voting finishes on Wednesday 11th April at Midnight.

So get on board and inflict some shame (if you're that way inclined) ... http://www.everydayhero.com.au/alfa_will_we_get
