Hi all,

I wish to advise that AROCA Vic is no longer involved in the organisation or conduct of the Tasmania Tour at Easter this year.

AROCA Vic members will receive a letter in the mail from Club President Stuart Thomson also confirming this.

Those who have registered their Expressions Of Interest for the tour via the event's website would have been sent all the booking information on the 12th of January.

The event now has diverged from the original discussions and it is not necessary for AROCA Vic to provide it's expertise, banking facilities, financial backing or insurance coverage.

If you ever thought to doing a driving tour of Tasmania in your Alfa and haven't yet registered, then please contact Organising Committee Chairman Mark Baigent on: baigent <at> aapt.net.au  or  mobile: 0416 155 105.  The website is: http://www.alfaromeoturismotasmania2012.com.au/

Cheers

I was waiting until we had our first committee meeting for 2012, but I can confirm now that as a result of the resignations of CMI members from the organising committee, that CMI is similarly no further involved in the organisation or running of this event.  As per AROCA, we wish the organisers all the best for the success of the event and importantly that the participants have an excellent time visiting Tasmania.
