EMR to Loch this Sunday 6th

For Historic Vintage, classic and current model vehicles on Sunday 6th November 2011.

The Club has organized another popular morning drive an Early Morning Run to Loch.  Shane Wescott (116 Series Register Captain) is planning a great drive across the Peninsula, through Tooradin and onto South Gippsland.

Start Time:         9.00 am for 9.30 am departure.
Where from:                 'Windows on the Bay'
                              Peter Scullin Reserve, 333 Beach Road, Mordialloc. ****     Melways  Ref:      Map 92 – E 1.

This will be an inspiring drive and the Club will have a morning tea stop at Grantville.  There will be a short break to relax and have a coffee before we then proceed to our lunch destination.   We will then continue to our lunch venue at Gilded Lily Restaurant and Bar at Loch. Club Members with any Alfa Romeo re encouraged to attend.   For club members and friends with vintage and historic vehicles, we suggest an earlier departure at 9.00 am sharp so we can all meet up at the same time for morning tea.  Route instructions will be provided at the start.

Lunch: a set menu is provided on the day.  Cost $40.00 per head.

Thank you to Shane for organizing the Cruise to Loch, the roads were great, interesting with great views, apart from a Foulcan that held us up, it gave us a chance to catch up and admire some of the scenery, the food was very nice and they catered for Ella with a kids meal, looking forward to the next Cruise, good one Shane!, Colin.

I had a great time apart from the GTV6 being a GTV5 for the day. New sparky intoday and it is roaring again.

While I am at it Mate, Ella is a credit to the whole family, a very polite and well mannered girl - very refreshing these days :-)
