I can't comment from a point of experience, but the tail shaft has 3 rubber couplings in it and they should be capable of absorbing the initial take up of a normal standing start.
Are you sticking with the blow thru carby turbo set up? Even 'just' 150rwkw (think that a standard 120hp engine would be lucky to have 100hp/74rwkw) in a 116 chassis would be a street demon. 200rwkw would be, ummmm, asking for trouble  (need a little demon emoticon) 8)

My track car has the blow through engine witch should have 150rwkw on 1bar with the solid plate 4puck.

My daily will have a EFI engine with 150rwkw almost as standard, but if i decide to spend the money and boost it up ill do the injectors, turbo,AFM and a tune witch could have up to 200rwkw or more.
