Hi all,

just wondering if anybody is planning on going down Saturday for the day?

Also, what time would you suggest arriving? I was thinking to aim for 930-10am.

I am going down tonight for the weekend, my GTV6 Grand Prix will be one of the display cars.
Say hi if you spot me in your travels.

Re. start times, I think racing starts at 9.00am Saturday and Sunday.

Just got back from a great day's racing at Philip Island. Just remember if its your first time attending this type of meeting there is an access road all around the track. I stopped at lots of places and spent  a fair bit of time down at Siberia. I had forgotten how much of the track you can see from down  there. ( nearly 3/4 of the circuit).

Favorite non Alfa car of the day : Chevron B 8. The guy on the tiller, Andy Newell from the UK  can drive a bit to here's a clip of his putting his car on pole  car at Donnington in the UK.

His best time for the day was a 1.45 . Not bad for a 1968 2 litre sports car & his first day at the track
