right now is ridiculously cheap to own an alfa if you can do some of the work yourself, and your mechanic lets you bring in your own parts (which you order from EB spares)

if you go to a major dealer and they pay for parts locally, expect to pay 2.5-3x as much. the labour has pros and cons between local alfa mechanic and major dealer, but thats a subjective choice, with parts, its not.

make sure you look after the oil, service regularly, and swap parts before recommended intervals, and owning an alfa is generally much cheaper than any other european marques.
