The truck's loaded and the boys are already on the way to Adelaide!

Phil: We'll text you over the weekend!

Yup, it's gonna be a coldie, but AROCA SA's warm hospitality should overcome that!

Cheers!

*** STOP PRESS ***

AROCA Vic brings back the silverware!!

That's right, one of the AROCA Vic teams came through for a win at the Mallala 6 Hour!  Congratulations to Ian James, Alan Goodall (Team Manager also), John Floyd, Rob Dale and Bruno Coulatti.  This team (of various make-ups!) has now had a third in 2005, a second in 2006, and now a first in 2007 after only three starts in the Mallala event.  A great record.

The other AROCA Vic team to make the trek across the border, made up of Victor & Mary Lee, Ray & Sue Pignataro, Kevin Nesci and Tony Hawker came in 6th.  After running very well earlier in the day they had some mechanical gremlins creep in and hold them back a little.  Mechanical dramas and still finish 6th, imagine if everything ran smooth!!  Still....both teams in the top 10!!

I am told it was a testing event with rain falling at times and leaving the track very greasy, particularly off the racing line.  With the rain interruptions it came down to strategy and good team management coupled with driving within the limits of the available grip, the experience of the guys above obviously mastered the conditions!!

Congrats again guys!!

Awesome result lads!

Well done to the winning team and to our other team!.  Watching some Mallala action on SBS yesterday showed how tricky indeed that circuit is when wet so well done all for even just surviving. :o
