Hey guys, anybody out there bought the autodelta carbon fibre intake for the 147 GTA?

If so did it come with fitting instructions?
Did you fit it yourself?
If so how hard was it?
If not, who did it and how much?

Thanks guys.

I don't have that particular intake, but have fitted a stainless pipe on my V6 GT.

It's an easy DIY job. Release the two metal retaining clamps (one each end) with a small flat blade screwdriver, and the factory plastic pipe can be released from the pipe up top, and AFM below. Then simply exchange them over.

Two things of note:
*reusing the metal retaining clamps may/may not be suitable; using some 'pincers' can reclamp the catch without much trouble, but if the AD pipe is not exactly the same diameter, the clamps may not be the right size, and are not adjustable; as such, you may prefer to replace with some adjustable clamps with the worm-screw, readily available from any car parts retailer (Autobarn, Autopro, Supercheap, etc)

*being CF, don't over tighten any clamps, because you could crack the pipe
