Early Morning Run to Winton Motor RacewayVia Tatong Pub - Sunday 24th October

On Sunday 24th October, we have another great drive organised to coincide with the AROCA Winton 6 Hour.  This is for those not racing that weekend but would like to participate in a club activity and support the event.

Time:        Meeting from 8.30am to depart at 9.00am.
Location:       Departs Bundoora Hotel car park
       Plenty Road
       Bundoora (Melway ref: Map 9 J 12)

This rendevous point would be familiar to those who joined us on the "Goldfields run".   From here we'll head north to Yea and Mansfield before a lunch stop at The Tatong Pub. Bookings will be required .

After Lunch a short run down to the track to watch some of the clubs finest racecars and drivers compete in the 2010 AROCA 6 Hour Relay, entry to the track is free for AROCA members.  This is a great drive and the scenery is very green with the recent rain.

Many thanks to John, Robert, Sandra, Zinta, and Nigel for excellent compay on a great drive. Apologies for too many kilometres of dirt road to and from Stringybark Creek, but I must say that the sealed road after was well worth it

That's for the organisation and the 'tour' .

The pub lunch with good company made it a great day.

Cheers.
